These steps assume the client already has a website and that we’re migrating the site to a Garrett Digital build.
Some of these steps can be skipped if the client doesn’t need the service mentioned.
Review of brand assets and development of new ones, if needed.
- Does the client have a logo? Is it in vector format so we can resize, change background colors, etc.?
- Are there other brand assets, such as a color palette, specific fonts, taglines, etc.?
- If the client has a logo and current assets, the web designer/front-end dev can adapt and work with that.
- If not, we’d need to go through a branding exercise with a brand/graphic designer. [Here are those steps]
Review of the current website and content
- What do they like and dislike about it?
- Are other websites they like a lot?
- What is their value proposition? Do they do a good job communicating that?
- Will they be keeping all of their current content? If not, what will they be removing or replacing?
- Are they happy with their website and how the content is organized?
- Is there anything that stands out to us that could be organized better?
- Are there plans for new content? Is there a content calendar? Is that something they need help strategizing and planning?
