Subject: Local SEO Essentials: Google Business Profile & Facebook Page Set Up
Hi Manny,
You should have received an email over the weekend inviting you to access your Google Business Profile (GBP) and Facebook Business page for Guerra Insurance Agency (links below).
GBP: https://bit.ly/guerraagency (shortcut, because the Google link is wildly long)
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/guerraagency
Status
- Both profiles are set up.
- I’m connecting the synchronization service to GBP so your data pushes to aggregators, GPS providers, and listing sites like Nextdoor.
- This helps people find you and signals to Google that Guerra Insurance Agency is a legitimate business.
What we need from you (soon)
Photos (real photos beat stock). These make GBP and Facebook look credible and complete.
People photos
- A clean headshot of you (plain background or office setting).
- Optional: a second, more casual shot (at your desk, on the phone, reviewing a policy).
Business & context photos
- Interior: front desk, conference table, workspace.
- Action shots: you meeting with a customer (or Dave/Rita/a friend), shaking hands, etc.
Photo tips
- Shoot horizontally where possible; include a few square crops for profile images.
- Use natural light; avoid heavy filters or text overlays.
- Send originals (not screenshots). High-resolution files are best.
Logo and branding
- We know Zack is working on branding. As soon as we have final logo files, we’ll add the logo and cover image across GBP and Facebook.
- No rush on this—send when ready.
What to consider later (FAQs and guidance)
I’ll remind you when the time comes. Sharing now to answer common questions.
Should I invite friends to like the Facebook page?
- You can do this now or wait until the logo and photos are in place so it looks more complete.
- If you do it now: open your Facebook page → click “Invite friends” → select contacts → “Send Invites.”
What about Google? Should I ask for reviews?
- Start slow, steady Google reviews on GBP. There’s no urgency. You can wait until branding is live.
- If you want a head start, pace it to 1–2 reviews per week. This looks natural to Google.
- When people leave a review, ask them to say what you helped with (auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance) and include a short detail about the experience (response time, clarity, savings, guidance).
Simple review request script (use as-is or tweak)
- “Hi [Name], I’m getting our Google listing in shape. If you’re willing, a quick review would help a lot. Here’s the link: https://bit.ly/guerraagency. A sentence about what I helped with (auto/home/life) is perfect. Thanks!”
Save review emails
- When you get a review on Google, they’ll email you a “new review” notice. Please save those.
- If Google ever hides a review by mistake (spam false-positive), those emails help us verify and recover.
- These notices will go to your Gmail tied to your Google Account.
How to reply to reviews (quick guide)
- Thank them by name; reference the service (auto/home/life).
- Keep it human and specific; no personal details.
- For negative reviews: stay calm, acknowledge, and invite them to continue the conversation offline. Never blame.
More about reviews later—we’ll share the full process when everything is branded and live.
If you have any questions, please reach out!
